Cost Projection Classes

This form is available only if the Construction feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

You use this form to create cost projection classes, which define the detail level of cost projection revisions. A cost projection revision can include the same level of detail as or less detail than the cost budget of the project for which the revision is created. Only a cost projection with the same level of budget detail can be released. For more information, see Project Cost Projections: General Information.

The table on this form lists the cost projection classes and their settings.

Column Description
Class ID The unique identifier of the cost projection class.
Description A brief description of the cost projection class.
Active A check box that indicates (if selected) that the cost projection class can be used for creation of cost projections. If the check box is cleared, the cost projection class is not available for selection.
Cost Task A check box that indicates (if selected) that a cost projection revision prepared for a project includes the cost task level of detail.
Account Group A check box that indicates (if selected) that a cost projection revision prepared for a project includes the account group level of detail.
Cost Code A check box that indicates (if selected) that a cost projection revision prepared for a project includes the cost code level of detail. This column is available if the Cost Code feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.
Inventory ID A check box that indicates (if selected) that a cost projection revision prepared for a project includes the inventory item level of detail.
